A recent medical study made at Los Angeles Institute of Biomedical Research has revealed that garlic supplements participate in reducing fat precipitation, known as “Atheroma,” in arteries, which takes a remarkable role in limiting the danger of having heart attacks, which is the main cause of deaths around the world.

The study included 55 patients, with ages between 40 and 75 years, during which they had 2400 milligrams of garlic extract (long life).

The results show that having these supplements, for a whole year, contributes in limiting fatty deposits on arterial walls to 80% at least, which leads to reducing the danger of having heart and coronary arteries diseases according to “Daily Mail” UK.

A previous US study has also shown that having garlic supplements contributes to the delay of brain injury with aging and other various diseases.

Garlic also has many other benefits. For example, it is highly nutritious but contains very few calories.  28 grams contains:

Manganese: 23% of the RDA.

Vitamin B6: 17% of the RDA.

Vitamin C: 15% of the RDA.

Selenium: 6% of the RDA.

Fiber: 0.6 gram.

It also combats sickness, including the common cold. Garlic supplementation is known to boost the function of the immune system.

One large 12-week study found that a daily garlic supplement reduced the number of colds by 63% compared with placebo. The average length of cold symptoms was also reduced by 70%, from 5 days in placebo to just 1.5 days in the garlic group.

Another study found that a high dose of garlic extract (2.56 grams per day) can reduce the number of days sick with the cold or flu by 61%.

It also purifies blood. To tackle the root cause of acne and get healthy skin on the outside,  take two cloves of raw garlic with some warm water every day, early in the morning, and consume a lot of water throughout the entire day.
